They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner here but we've only had their breakfast buffet.

The breakfast buffet ($15) is pretty much standard hotel fare.  There's an egg/omelet station where your egg dishes are made to order.  With your egg dishes, you have a self-served choice of bacon, sausages, hash brown and sautéed potatoes.  I believe you can order waffles and pancakes there also, but we were too full to get more food.

The fruits for all 3 days we were there have been cantaloupe, melon and pineapple.  Other items included cereals, pastries, toasts , muffins, etc.  Juice and coffee were self-served although our sever was nice enough to get them for us.  Service has been great.  Our server offered us refills for our coffee and juice, and empty plates were promptly removed.

The coffee served was Starbucks Pike Place which was my favorite.  A darker roast and a decaf option were also available.

All of our egg dishes were prepared very nicely and everything tasted great.  The food certainly measured up to Hilton's standard.  Although there were not many varieties, selection was adequate.

The breakfast buffet is $15 per person but when you book your room, look for special packages that sometimes will include breakfast for two.

This restaurant is small and sits in the lobby of the hotel.  It's kinda hidden but a great place to sit and relax, have a drink or two and even eat!

They sell coupons on Internet without stating their business hours...thing is they are not open for part of the day, so i drove about 40 minutes to find myself being told by a receptionnist who could not care less that the restaurant was close. Place look shady and empty , if your in the area youll see there is way better restaurants around .

Thank you Hilton in Shirlington ...

Brought 3 co-workers to my little "secret" burger spot and they were not disappointed. Great burgers were back, with die-hard burger lovers agreeing that you can actually order medium-rare burgers here and not be scared. These continued to have the terrific char-broiled beefy taste, that I love in a burger.

And the onion rings that come as a standard choice for the Mobley Burger were simply excellent--beer battered rings the way they should be.

Only thing that was off was the service, which was very slow for such a lightly populated lunch crowd, from sitting down to getting the check. But the longest wait was for the actual food.

What could have been the problem was that two of the four plates had onion rings and there is one lone cook in the back doing it all. I normally don't have such a wait if by myself, so word to the wise--large parties need to be more patient than smaller ones.

But they are still very friendly there and don't be afraid to flag down Elias or your waiter. If you can tough out the wait, and are a burger fiend, this is the place that can do it for you.

OK so it's most likely not grass-fed (which is a shame), but for the meager great burger pickings in this area, this is the best I've found.

    Beef-Piggy Approved. :8)

Called ahead on a Sunday to ask if they did Brunch or Lunch or... what.  "Regular menu" says the girl on the phone.  I told her I was asking because I'm bringing an elderly man out to lunch and want to know if there is - for example - a buffet, which is ok but means I have to select for him, since he's unsteady on his feet.  Nope, regular table service with menus.

We show up and the place is empty but for staff getting their breakfast at the back.  Somebody named I think Brandon comes out and says no service today - nothing.  I explain what we were told.  Shoulders get shrugged "Can't imagine why she would say that," and he repeats "No service today."

Out the door we go.  Thank you for communicating "This isn't really a concern for us" on behalf of the Hilton brand!

Hilton, Hilton... oh yes, that's one of the brands I occasionally consider when I am acting as a MEETING PLANNER for our electronics association. Must remember:  Stay the heck away from any Hilton Garden Inn because staff attitude is "Meh... you're not really our problem."

Then we spend another ten minutes getting my aged father back out the door again... in front of that same group of staff who were all focused on their primary goal: Eating Breakfast.  ;)  Memorable, guys.  Memorable.
